Found It!

A computer crash and there went my "favorites" link to this board. I admit I didn't work real hard at trying to find it again but I was looking at the MVBB (still boring as hell) and thought I would do a little research. Alas, I was successful. Hope everybody is doing OK since the last time I was on here.

Here's what's new with me (if anyone cares):

1. Sold the house in Everett and moved to Wenatchee. YAAA! Don't miss the other side of the mountains one bit. Love Wenatchee. 2 hours year round to get to Mazama instead of 3 hours when 20 is open and 5 to 6 hours in the winter.

2. Retired from my job of 16 years. Last day was March 28th. Retirement didn't last long though.

3. Went to work for one of my customers from the last job on April 1st. Full time, summer months only (April thru Nov.) Which means -

4. I am laid off until next April 1st and I am collecting unemployment at this time. I feel a little guilty about getting paid (and rather handsomely at that) for doing nothing. Feels wrong somehow. Government handout?

5. Finally got the water situation at the Mazama house fixed. No more water pipes and pressure tanks in an unheated shed. Got fed up with fighting with heat tape and insulation. Found everything frozen solid last December so I just shut it down and didn't come up to the valley. Had Jerry Palm connect the well directly to the house bypassing the unheated shed. I put a new pressure tank and pressure switch inside the house in the bathroom.

6. Had some minor surgery to fix a 4 year old hernia early this December. All better now and dying to get some skiing in.
